We use Google Analytics on our webpage to gather information about how you and others interact with our Web site. We do not knowingly store personal information, and we currently do not offer a way for you to opt out of this tracking. You do not need to use the Half Staff App website in order to use the mobile app.
The security of your personal information is important to us. Versions of the app prior to 1.2 did not use HTTPS encryption to transmit data. However, beginning in version 1.2, we follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

You may access or change your information or delete your account from inside the Half Staff App.
To delete your information from our system, simply turn off push notifications. We will automatically delete your information 24 hours following the next push notification event (e.g. when the next half staff notification is sent to everybody).
Deleted information may be kept in backups for up to 90 days. Backups are encrypted and are only accessed if needed for disaster recovery.
We comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
We never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
By using the Half Staff App and providing your information, you authorize us to collect, use, and store your information outside of the European Union.
